Poetry in an empty coke can during lunch….
Downtown on a bitty round
I saw her go on the merry-go round.
It was just a mitty minute
Then my head went “ohhh what a scenic.”
It was then I knew
My heart would go askew
Walked down to town
Had bit of a round to pound
I missed you much
And then my heart yelled out in a crunch
I saw you walk away,
So sailed away I did, right on the bay.
