I knew it bothered you. But I never realized how much. And for that I am so so sorry.
It’s like having found your rainbow. And you decide that maybe for the first time, it’s ok if you hang on to the rainbow for a while. But it was never ok for me to do so.
Because for so long, you’ve seen others find their rainbows and some finding another rainbow just after they’ve lost. I’ve seen you with yours too. Sometimes wishing I could be your rainbow….but I never was.
But I was selfish babe…I didn’t realize that by hanging on to you…I was hurting you. By telling you everyting….especially when they thought what they thought, it made you upset.
I’m sorry baby girl.
I love you way too much to see you get angry or get upset. Way too much to lose you. Way too much to see you unhappy.
But know this…I’m not going to take any step back. I refuse too. I don’t want to. And I’m not letting you either.
