Lonesome Llama Spooks
There was once a llama. A traveling llama. It’s name was Llama Spooks. Llama Spooks has always been ok. It’s always been fine alone. It could go to the movies alone, go to parties, go for drinks and even hit the LlamaBagama clubs alone. It was never the sort to get cynical whenever it saw couples’ making out neither was it the jealous sort whenever it saw them holding hoofs and walking down town or wherever it is llamas walk around.
But lately, things have been changing a little. No, Llama Spooks wasn’t starting to get jealous or cynical or anything like that. It just feels a little….sad. And it’s not the kind of sadness that makes you want to cry, nor is it the kind that goes off with a good chocolate cake. (Llama loves anything chocolate) It’s the sort that makes your heart feel physically painful. The sort that nudges you with puppy dog eyes and begs you to do something about it. The most difficult kind of sadness.
However, Llama Spooks doesn’t want to bring anyone down, so it holds it back. Keeps it inside because other llamas have problems too. After all, being a llama can be tough. So Llama Spooks will try to be strong and will try to be brave. It will smile with all that’s happening around. It will feel truly happy as it watches them take the next step. It will still tell jokes that make everyone laugh, making a fool of itself. It will be there to lend a shoulder (llamas have awesome shoulders) and it will lend a listening ear whenever it’s needed. Llama Spooks does all these things because its happy to see them happy. It forgets the sadness for a while.
Guess all Llama Spooks wants is to be held and comforted sometimes. To know its going to be ok and it won’t be alone. Cause that’s what scares Llama Spooks the most.
