things of list
There are 30 things that I must complete within 30 days. I don’t have all 30 things just yet….but some suggestions were given by Best Buds, others were from the Cousins and the Colleagues. I’m not sure if I can even complete this list. But I guess, we’ll see as the days go by.
The list of 30 things within 30 days
1) I must no initiate any sort of communication for the whole day. I am not
allowed to call anybody, sms, email, blog, visit people’s blog (because I can communicate thru tagging!) I am only allowed to talk when someone talks to me first…or message me.
2) See how many mentos I can put in my mouth while drinking 7 up.
3) Eat at the French stall.
4) Be vegetarian for 1 day. (No fish, no meat, no eggs, no rice.) JUST VEGETABLES!
5) Be carnivorous for 1 day. JUST MEAT!
6) Wear make up for one day. The works as CFB, PP and WAP call it.
7) Break 5 laws in a day
- smoke at bus stop
- steal a street sign
- litter
- spit in public
- take my dog for a walk and don’t throw away the poop
Get a wax (I’m still thinking about this though)
9) Go to a Lan shop. Create a World of War Craft character. Name it and play online for ½ hours and then discuss it at length with Best Buds
10) Touch up my tattoo
11) Eat fish sperms or is it eggs (I need to find this one out properly)
12) Taste my own piss
13) Talk to a random stranger. Find out his/her name, age and what they do for a living.
14) Cook my own meal
15) Highlight my hair blue
16) Dig up earthworms, bottle them up, name them and give them to Best Buds
17) Walk down the street in Bermudas, t-shirt, socks and sandals!
18) Ride a bicycle thru a drive-thru MacDonalds
19) Go kite flying
20) Go hot air ballooning
21) Carry a birthday sandwich board and walk down the street
22) Sing a song in public
23) Watch the Singapore Slingers basketball team play
So I’m in need of 7 more things. Any suggestions?
Day 1: 8th November 2006 - I must not initiate any sort of communication for the whole day(No. 1)
I decided to go with the most fucking difficult thing in the list. You would think waxing would be the worse. But no….it was No 1. No communication unless initiated by someone else.
Oh good gad! I went nuts. It started out alright. But by 11am, I was going nuts. When I say nuts…I mean my head was on a roll. Spinning in fact. I was moping around the office. Watching my phone…..willing someone to call me. Colorful Shoes thought it was damn funny though.
PP emailed me before lunch…and I got so fricking excited when I replied her. I mean I couldn’t even write notes to anyone. I was sad. In fact, I wrote this when I was at the pit.
So today is the day when I can’t call or message. I want too but I can’t. I don’t want to play this game anymore. *starts singing.. “All by myself……don’t wanna be…all by myself…..anymore!!!!†how come nobody is calling me. I wonder if she’s ok. I wonder if she’s still angry. How can anyone live without communicating. I should write to the telephone people and get them install those 10 cents phone back. OOooo maybe I should invest in a phone card. Just in cases…
*starts singing again…. “Call me…..Call me….baby baby call me now!!!!â€
Is this what alone time means…what the fuck?? Too many thoughts in my head. I’ve named them each though. Maybe I should call now. Ok, I’m strong. I will not. Maybe I can silently will Colorful Shoes to talk to me!!
I caved. I called CFB at 1700hours. She refused to talk… “You’re not suppose to call Kel!! I’m putting the phone down. Ok bye!!!†And all I wanted to say was Hi!!
I will never ever do this again. Oh boy….I can’t wait till today is over. I want it over NOW!! Bastard.
Well…I thought the day went pretty well…except when I caved for that 5 minutes and called CFB. PP thought it was amazing. She thought I would have caved after 2 hours actually. And when I met her later in the evening…she gave me chocolate for a job well done. I would like to put the photo up…but erm..I ate the chocolate already…so there isn’t a photo. Heh…
CFB surprised me and called right after midnight….I rambled on about the whole day…I’m sorry babe. I couldn’t help it.
But it’s over. Blog surfing, tagging, smsing, its all back!!!!!!! I’m back!!!!! Whooohoo!!!!!
