The words dripped on my consciousness,
sank into my being, and carried me away,
to the magic long ago of once upon a time.
YES! or wait…maybe? Which am I doing now?

Huh? I’m sorry. I didnt hear what you said. I was …uhm… occupied.
i thought i knew, but i think i’m sorely mistaken
Yeah, I know the difference … I didn’t spend 23 years in a marriage, I killed 23 years …
I know the difference, I think. If killing time is equal to wasting it, and spending time is equal to enjoying quality time, then I blew 20 years married to one man who didn’t love or respect me, and another few with other men who didn’t add up to quality time. Now I live alone, and I enjoy my time a lot more. So now I am spending it by myself, and it is nice, even though it can be a bit lonely once in a while. I have since 2001 been spending quality time doing what I want for a change. Sure it would be nice to have someone I love by my side, but I have learned to enjoy what time I have more. No one is telling me what I can and can’t do. To be able to enjoy whatever I want whenever I want is definitely quality time. I find since I am single that I am much happier and more relaxed. That is a definite plus in my book.
