Magical Tipsy Toes

I never believed that it existed. I believed that at the end of the day these things just fade away. Especially when you give too much of yourself. But I enjoyed watching all these things happening around me. Then again, maybe it’s because my mind likes to understand why and how these things happen. But I never believed in it one bit.

You believed in it so much. I saw it with the calls, with the messages, with the long conversations, when together. It was obvious at first…but after a while…you figured it out…and you tried not to show it much. But it was still there…I could tell.

And so began my quest. I wasn’t sure why at first I made it my quest although I knew only one way of making it all better.

But that’s gone now. So I’m lost. I can’t fix it.

Paulo Coelho wrote in By the River Piedra I Sat Down Wept how it’s always new. How it can consign you to hell or to paradise. But it’s always taking you somewhere. Accept it because it’s what nourishes your existence. You have to take love where to find to it, even if it means hours, days, weeks, disappointments and sadness. The moment you seek for it, it’s seeks you. To save you.

Now I know why it was my quest. Because in a strange way of trying to make it all better, I learnt what it is to give all of yourself without expecting anything back.

As much as it scares the living daylights out of me, the head seems to be agreeing with the heart.
